We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and dedicated Permanent Senior Associate (Wage and Hour) to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will be tasked with handling complex wage and hour cases, providing legal advice to clients, and representing them in related litigation. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where your expertise in wage and hour laws will be highly valuable. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a team of experienced attorneys while handling high-profile wage and hour cases.

Responsibilities

1. Provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients on complex wage and hour matters.
2. Represent clients in wage and hour litigation, including class action lawsuits.
3. Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
4. Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
5. Conduct depositions, mediations, and negotiations.
6. Prepare and present cases at trial, ensuring the best possible outcome for our clients.
7. Stay updated on current wage and hour laws, regulations, and trends to provide accurate advice and robust representation.
8. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure effective case management.
9. Participate in business development initiatives, including networking events and client meetings.

Qualifications

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member in good standing with the state bar.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in wage and hour law, including litigation and trial experience.
4. Possess a deep understanding of federal, state, and local wage and hour laws and regulations.
5. Proven track record of successfully representing clients in wage and hour cases.
6. Exceptional legal research, analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple cases and projects concurrently, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
8. Strong interpersonal and client management skills, with a commitment to providing superior client service.
9. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
10. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
