Must-Have Technical / Functional Skills - 5-10 years of experience developing professional-grade shared component libraries.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript, Angular and/or React, with solid foundational understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Proven experience building reusable code integrated with modern design systems.
- Ability to write clean, well-documented, maintainable, and high-quality code.
- Strong execution speed with consistently high quality.
- A growth mindset with the ability to learn quickly and adapt in fast-changing environments.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Experience delivering in Agile environments, using Bitbucket/GitHub, and Jira for development tracking.
- Hands-on experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing.

- Ability to stay updated on the latest software development trends and technologies.
- Provide support to developers onboarding and contributing to the design system.
- Interest in contributing to large-scale design systems and working within a design-driven framework.

Roles & Responsibilities The
Design System Developer- will lead the development of the Angular/React codebase powering the organization's internal design system. This role is heavily technical and strategic, contributing directly to the stability, scalability, and evolution of internal frameworks, products, and systems.
You will collaborate closely with the framework development team and the CSS lead, ensuring all code aligns with the standards defined in the internal design library. This framework supports the creation of modern, intuitive digital products that deliver best-in-class user experience across internal and external platforms.
This role also provides opportunities to partner with Technology teams to support onboarding to the design system and to ensure alignment with broader organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities - Lead development of the Angular/React framework aligned with internal design system components.
- Support and maintain the Angular component library / React UI library.
- Work with teams to understand priorities, resolve blockers, and maintain workflow continuity.
- Investigate and resolve bugs to reduce risk for end-users.
- Manage framework upgrades, enhancements, and feature requests.
- Ensure applications have a clear migration path to remain aligned with the latest technology and design standards.
- Follow internal build and publishing standards to ensure framework stability.
- Keep the framework aligned with evolving internal architectural directions and industry trends.
- Provide technical analysis, solutions, and direction for complex issues.
