Job Description – Salesforce Experience Cloud Architect (Hybrid – Phoenix, AZ Local Only)
Location: Phoenix, AZ

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Experience Cloud Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-scale digital experience platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud, Lightning Web Runtime (LWR), modern DevOps practices, and enterprise integration architecture.
This role requires strong hands-on technical leadership combined with strategic architecture capabilities to deliver scalable, secure, and personalized customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architectural Design & Strategy
- Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for Salesforce Experience Cloud implementations.
- Evaluate and recommend LWR vs Aura templates based on scalability, SEO, performance, and business requirements.
- Design secure external user architectures using:
- External Identity
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Advanced sharing models
- Account Relationship Data Sharing
- Apex Managed Sharing
- Establish governance standards, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines for Experience Cloud deployments.
- Define scalable architecture patterns and best practices for enterprise implementations.
2. Technical Development & Hands-on Leadership
- Develop modular, reusable, and high-performance Lightning Web Components (LWC), optimized for the LWR framework.
- Build responsive UI experiences using:
- JavaScript (ES6+)
- HTML5
- CSS/SLDS
- Implement Audience Targeting and Salesforce CMS for personalized digital experiences.
- Design and develop scalable automation solutions using:
- Headless Flows
- Asynchronous Apex
- Platform Events
- Troubleshoot and optimize Experience Cloud performance and governor limit consumption.
3. Data & AI Integration
- Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud to enable unified customer profile experiences.
- Design and maintain integrations with external platforms including:
- ERP systems
- AWS services
- Marketing Cloud
- Third-party APIs
- Develop and manage REST/SOAP integrations using Named Credentials and secure authentication models.
- Support AI-driven personalization and customer engagement strategies.
4. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Conduct code reviews and enforce enterprise development standards.
- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across Experience Cloud initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and executives to define technical roadmaps.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical user stories and implementation plans.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on Experience Cloud (Communities) experience.
- Deep expertise in Lightning Web Runtime (LWR) architecture and optimization.
- Strong proficiency in:
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Apex
- JavaScript (ES6+)
- HTML5
- CSS/SLDS
- Experience with:
- Salesforce CLI
- SFDX
- Git-based version control
- CI/CD pipelines
- Modern DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture and external user licensing models.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications and cloud platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant
- Additional Salesforce Architect certifications highly preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and AI-driven personalization solutions.
- Prior experience leading enterprise-scale Experience Cloud implementations
