Summary

Position: Azure DevOps Engineer / Cloud Platform Engineer

Location: Remote

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on Microsoft Azure. The role involves working closely with development teams to deploy scalable applications using Kubernetes (AKS), Terraform, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
Deploy and manage applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Work with containers and Kubernetes, including Helm charts and ArgoCD (GitOps)
Build and support architecture: Static Web Apps → AKS → Database
Manage cloud database services such as Azure SQL, SQL Managed Instance, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL (CosmosDB, MongoDB)
Develop and manage APIs using Azure Functions
Implement operational automation using Azure Automation, Logic Apps, and Functions
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure smooth deployments and releases
Manage source control and CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab
Ensure solutions follow Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF)
Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cloud environments.

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, releases)
Hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and ACR
Knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, Helm charts, and ArgoCD
Experience building CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
Experience with Azure cloud services including:

Azure SQL / SQL Managed Instance
Azure Functions / Logic Apps
Static Web Apps

Understanding of cloud architecture patterns and integrations
Familiarity with CAF and Azure Well-Architected Framework (WAF)
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

Experience with PostgreSQL
Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, CosmosDB)
Experience with Azure App Service Plans
Exposure to automation and monitoring tools
