Job DetailsTitle: Network Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless environments
- Manage Cisco routers, switches, and Cisco ASA / Firepower (FTD) firewalls
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, firewall, and connectivity issues
- Design and maintain VPNs, firewall policies, and access controls
- Serve as an escalation point for advanced network and security issues
- Partner with IT leadership on network architecture and security standards
- Maintain compliance with PCI and industry security requirements
- Identify risks, technical debt, and infrastructure improvements
- Create and maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Cisco enterprise networking environments
- Strong routing and switching experience
- Experience managing firewalls as security appliances
- Understanding of network security concepts including segmentation and least privilege
- Calm, methodical troubleshooting approach
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to balance performance, availability, and security in design decisions
