Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Technical Lead to support a major PeopleSoft HCM upgrade project. The selected candidate will lead development activities, manage technical teams, and oversee the implementation of system upgrades and customizations across multiple PeopleSoft HCM modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical activities for the PeopleSoft HCM upgrade project
• Establish and enforce SDLC standards and development processes
• Create and manage project plans, work packages, and development estimates
• Coordinate development tasks and review technical deliverables
• Perform fit-gap analysis and design system customizations
• Analyze and resolve technical issues and defects
• Support integration with legacy and third-party systems
• Document technical processes, system flows, and development standards
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with **PeopleSoft HCM and multiple versions of PeopleTools
• Experience leading at least 3 major PeopleSoft HCM upgrades
• Strong development experience with PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Packages, Integration Broker, SQR, and Workflow
• Experience with Drop Zones, Event Mapping, and Fluid technologies
• Strong SQL and PS Query experience for data analysis and troubleshooting
• Experience developing interfaces with legacy and third-party systems
• Knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases
• Experience with COBOL stored procedures customization
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with New York City Automated Personnel System (NYCAPS)
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Vista Plus or LRS
• Oracle certification
• Experience working on large enterprise implementations

Education

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
