Salesforce Marketing Cloud Contract Role Requirements

Core Technical Skills and Platform Competencies:

• • The team is searching for a mid-level candidate with comprehensive, end-to-end expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Specifically, the ideal candidate must have strong functional capabilities across multiple platform features: "Looking for someone that kind of just knows marketing cloud, end to end build emails amp script journey builder automation studio."
  • Candidates should have a career background that progressed through email production, equipping them to build reusable email templates and construct personalized, dynamic content.
  • Technical competence must extend beyond the boundaries of the Marketing Cloud platform. Candidates must be comfortable discussing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) patterns, as the team "consume[s] a lot of data from external systems, especially here at the Thrivent."

Soft Skills and Behavioral Profile:

• • Strong social and communication skills are prioritized over deep technical expertise, as Marketing Cloud is "not a super hard platform" and has abundant resources and AI tools available.
  • The candidate must be highly socially dynamic, confident, and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Proactivity is a critical requirement. The manager defined the ideal working relationship as: "someone that can will work with me in a sense that I don't have to tell them, hey, you need to do X, you need to do Y, you need to do Z. You know, they can kind of just come to me and tell me, hey, I think I need to do X, Y and Z."
  • The candidate must possess the autonomy to navigate conversations, solve problems independently, and consult directly with stakeholders on how to architect and build solutions.
