FS API Java Cloud CI/CD Cypress

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an FS API Java Cloud CI/CD Cypress in Westlake, TX.

Duties:
* Uses CI/CD practices, tools to rapidly deploy changes to customers while minimizing risk using practices like A/B tests, blue-green deployments, and feature toggles
* Stay on top of Algorithms, Data Structures and Design Patterns and love the challenge of building highly scalable systems that can support thousands of transactions/sec

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development
* Hands-on experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), building RESTful services, JSON, and modern Application Servers
* Experience in documenting APIs employing an API documentation framework like OpenAPI
* Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, and NPM
* Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum)
* Experienced with the tools of the trade including a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks
* Deep understanding of API design, including versioning, isolation and micro-services; Having GraphQL knowledge is a plus
* Knowledge of web application development using Angular, NodeJS, HTML, CSS/SASS
* Knowledge of cloud computing environments and applications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
* Knowledge of relational (Postgres, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL database management systems
* Knowledge in Container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)
* Strong knowledge of developing highly scalable distributed systems using open-source technologies
* Working knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Karma, Junit, Cypress
* Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and Java Spring Boot
* Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization globally
* Strong communication skills and technical expertise in driving and participating in discussions
* Strong team player and able to mentor junior team members
* A passion for technology and can navigate your way across sophisticated and rapidly changing landscapes by staying on top of the latest trends and thrive by sharing knowledge

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
