Summary

Description:
Hybrid 3 days onsite in New York, NY

Our client is seeking a Senior AI Enablement Engineer to design, build, integrate, and operationalize AI-powered tools and workflows across the business. This hands-on individual contributor role focuses on transforming emerging AI capabilities into practical solutions that improve how internal teams work. The consultant will partner across business and technical functions to identify high-value use cases, prototype and build solutions, integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems, and help establish scalable approaches for AI adoption. The ideal candidate combines strong software and integration engineering skills with business acumen and stakeholder management, and is comfortable working directly with non-technical teams to translate needs into production-ready solutions.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $85.00 to $95.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and implement AI-enabled workflows and automation across business functions including Finance, People/HR, Legal, IT, Workplace, and go-to-market teams.
  • Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand workflows, identify pain points, and determine where AI, automation, integrations, or new tooling can improve processes.
  • Build and maintain MCP and connector integrations between AI tooling and enterprise platforms.
  • Develop integrations using APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and other integration patterns to connect SaaS applications and internal systems.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools, agent frameworks, MCP servers, and related technologies and help determine appropriate business use cases.
  • Prototype AI workflows and build reusable solutions and reference architectures that other internal teams can extend.
  • Support the evaluation of third-party AI technologies in partnership with Security, Privacy, Legal, and other stakeholders.
  • Help establish governance, security, monitoring, and operational standards for internal AI tools and integrations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to move solutions from concept and prototype into reliable production environments.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-moving environment where priorities, technologies, and business requirements continue to evolve.

Experience Requirements:
  • 5+ years of software engineering, integration engineering, or related technical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience building integrations between SaaS or enterprise systems.
  • Strong experience with APIs, OAuth/identity, webhooks, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Practical experience building or implementing LLM-based applications and AI tooling, such as agent workflows, retrieval, prompt design, evaluation, or production model/API integrations.
  • Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or comparable agent-to-tool integration approaches.
  • Experience working with enterprise platforms such as NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce, Zendesk, Ironclad, or similar systems.
  • Strong DevOps fundamentals, including CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, secrets management, version control, monitoring, and observability.
  • Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, particularly when partnering with non-technical business teams.
  • Ability to work independently, create structure in ambiguous environments, and operate effectively within a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
  • Nice to have: Experience within Business Technology, IT, internal platform, or enterprise applications teams; background in technical and customer-facing roles; experience with enterprise iPaaS platforms; experience building internal tools; experience evaluating AI or SaaS vendors; experience in startup and larger enterprise environments.
