Business Unit Analyst
 
The Business Unit Analyst acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and the HRTS development team, gathering and documenting business requirements, creating user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps, and supporting HRTS enhancements. The role also coordinates healthcare system integrations (US SAFR), UAT, solution implementation, and process improvements while ensuring effective communication between business and technical teams.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business units to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Create and manage user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to define business needs and prioritize enhancements.
  • Work with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate completed functionality.
  • Support implementation and integration of US SAFR between hospitals and HRTS.
  • Document business processes, workflows, and system changes.
  • Provide production support, issue analysis, and recommendations for system improvements.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
  • Promote continuous improvement of HRTS functionality and business processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar Agile project management tools.
  • Experience with healthcare information systems, hospital workflows, or health IT integrations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
