Summary

Job Title: Procurement Analyst
Location: Columbus, OH (Local Candidates Only | Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month W2 Contract (Potential for Full-Time Conversion)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 

Position Overview

CLIENT is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to support sourcing, procurement, and contract management activities. This role partners with Procurement Consultants, Category Managers, and business stakeholders to drive strategic sourcing initiatives, perform procurement analytics, and support contract negotiations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with procurement processes, contract administration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sourcing, procurement, and contracting initiatives across multiple business units.
  • Perform spend analysis, market research, supplier evaluations, pricing analysis, and total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling.
  • Assist with RFP/RFQ processes, bid evaluations, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiations.
  • Draft, review, and administer complex supplier agreements and procurement documentation.
  • Develop scopes of work (SOWs) and maintain procurement reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to procurement teams and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve procurement processes, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and corporate governance standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant procurement experience.
  • Experience with contract drafting and administration for large, complex agreements.
  • Hands-on experience managing RFPs, sourcing events, and procurement processes.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to quickly learn procurement systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to policy and process compliance.
