Hardware Sourcing Recruiter

Location: Bellevue, Washington (Onsite)

Role Overview

This position is for a Technical/Hardware Sourcing Recruiter. The role involves building and delivering pipelines for hardware and software engineering roles to support device, robotics, and AI product roadmaps. This function combines technical sourcing, market intelligence, and candidate engagement to identify talent at the intersection of hardware, firmware, and AI-driven software. This is a sourcing position, not a full-cycle recruiting role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build pipelines for Hardware Engineering roles, including Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, and Silicon/ASIC Engineers.
  • Source for Software Engineering roles, including Embedded Software, C/C++, Python, and ML/AI.
  • Develop and execute scalable sourcing strategies using Boolean search, X-ray, GitHub, StackOverflow, and HireEZ.
  • Craft tailored outreach for niche engineering profiles and maintain high response rates through personalized messaging.
  • Partner with engineering leaders to calibrate profiles and refine role requirements.
  • Deliver insights on competitor organizations and emerging skill trends.
  • Conduct initial technical screens to evaluate engineering depth and experience.
  • Build inclusive pipelines using targeted channels and community partnerships.
  • Track and report on funnel health, outreach performance, and pipeline velocity using ATS/CRM tools.
  • Pass qualified and interested candidates to Senior Recruiters for progression through the interview process.
Required Qualifications

Experience: Must have experience sourcing hardware and/or software engineering talent, such as SDEs (Full Stack, Front End, Back End), Hardware engineers, or Firmware engineers. Experience in a fast-paced environment is necessary.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with advanced sourcing tools and techniques including Boolean search, X-ray, GitHub, HireEZ, and LinkedIn Recruiter. Experience using ATS/CRM systems is required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience sourcing for devices, robotics, embedded systems, or AI/ML engineering roles.
  • A background in sourcing for SAP-related positions is a significant advantage.
  • Experience driving diversity sourcing initiatives across technical disciplines.
  • Ability to influence engineering leaders using data and market insights.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret funnel data and adjust strategy.
