We are seeking an experienced AV and Events Technician to support enterprise video conferencing environments and live event production. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining conference room technology, providing video conferencing support, troubleshooting AV issues, and delivering high-profile live and hybrid events.
On a typical day, you will support conference room operations, respond to ServiceNow video conferencing requests, conduct proactive room sweeps, and ensure meeting spaces remain fully operational. On event days, you will plan, configure, and execute live and hybrid events ranging from executive leadership meetings to customer and partner-facing sessions.
This highly visible role supports senior leaders and external guests where flawless execution is critical. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, proactive in preventing issues, and able to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
You will work closely with the Videoconferencing and Event Support team, AV Operations, Network Operations, and Event Technology teams supporting broadcast studio environments and company-wide events.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain conference room AV technologies
- Respond to video conferencing support requests through ServiceNow
- Perform proactive room health checks and equipment inspections
- Troubleshoot audio, video, and conferencing issues
- Configure and support Zoom Rooms environments
- Operate audio boards, audio mixers, and AV switching systems
- Plan, coordinate, and execute live, virtual, and hybrid events
- Support executive meetings, customer presentations, partner meetings, and company events
- Coordinate with network and event operations teams
- Provide real-time troubleshooting during live productions
- Ensure exceptional user experience for business stakeholders and executive leadership
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an AV Technician
- Experience supporting enterprise video conferencing environments
- Hands-on experience with Zoom Rooms
- Experience with audio boards and audio mixing consoles
- Experience with AV switching systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to perform in high-pressure, customer-facing environments
- High School Diploma or equivalent
