Our client is seeking an AI Product Engineer who is passionate about transforming cutting-edge advances in generative AI into real-world, production-ready solutions. Work model: Onsite 3 days per week in Downtown Los Angeles.
What you'll do
Design and prototype AI-powered applications, copilots, and RAG-based workflows using modern LLM APIs, embeddings, and orchestration frameworks
Build and deploy full-stack AI features, including retrieval logic, prompt pipelines, evaluation systems, and monitoring infrastructure
Own the end-to-end AI lifecycle, from experimentation and data preparation through production deployment and performance optimization
Evaluate emerging models, tools, and frameworks to identify high-impact opportunities and rapidly implement viable solutions
Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into scalable AI features with clear success metrics and measurable outcomes
What gets you the job
8+ years of software engineering or machine learning experience, including 3+ years focused on LLMs, NLP, or applied AI
Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with LLM tooling such as LangChain/OpenAI SDKs, embeddings, RAG architectures, and vector databases
Demonstrated success delivering production AI products or platforms used by real users
Experience optimizing AI workflows for latency, cost, reliability, and performance, including experimentation and evaluation practices
Bachelor s degree required; advanced degree in computer science, data science, or a related field preferred
