Job Summary

Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a 12-month onsite contract in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and embedded software development environments, supporting build automation, integration, and deployment processes.

Candidates must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded software projects.
Automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
Support embedded development teams with build systems and release management.
Manage source code using Git and maintain development workflows.
Troubleshoot and optimize CI/CD infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve DevOps practices.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of DevOps experience.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).
Experience supporting embedded software development.
Proficiency with Git, Linux, and scripting (Python/Bash).
Experience with Docker and build tools such as CMake or Make is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Mandatory Requirement

Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
This is a 100% onsite role in San Diego, CA.
