We are seeking an experienced
Data Center Technician to support a growing team in the Dallas market. This role focuses on hands-on hardware troubleshooting, fiber diagnostics, and ticket resolution within a fast-paced data center environment.
About the RoleThis position requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, particularly with
fiber cabling, server hardware, and physical infrastructure. You will serve as an on-site Level 2 technician responsible for resolving tickets, performing break/fix work, and supporting ongoing data center operations.

Data Center Technician role-not cable pulling-requiring the ability to diagnose issues, repair hardware, and maintain uptime across critical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair fiber cabling issues
- Resolve support tickets in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform hardware diagnostics and break/fix repairs
- Support rack and stack activities as needed
- Install, test, and maintain Cat5/Cat6 cabling
- Conduct data center maintenance and equipment checks
- Document work performed and follow established processes
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues
Required Experience- Hands-on Data Center Technician experience
- Strong fiber cable troubleshooting skills
- Ticketing system experience (creating, updating, resolving tickets)
- Hardware troubleshooting, including servers and network components
Nice-to-Have Skills- Rack and stack experience
- Cat5/Cat6 installation and testing
- General data center maintenance
- Familiarity with structured cabling standards

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
