Summary

Role Title: SAP EWM Consultant

Location: Onsite

Position Type: Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to lead and execute full-lifecycle SAP Extended Warehouse Management implementations for the client, a global healthcare leader. In this remote role, you will design, configure, and optimize complex warehouse processes while ensuring full integration with S/4HANA core modules and strict compliance with healthcare regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Configuration: Architect and configure EWM warehouse structures, inbound/outbound fulfillment, task and order management, handling unit management (HUM), and RF/barcode-driven operations.
System Integration: Drive seamless integration between S/4HANA core modules (MM, SD, PP, QM, TM, FI), external 3PL systems, automated material handling equipment (MHE), and logistics carriers.
Compliance & Quality: Implement robust batch management, serial number tracking, shelf-life exponent tracking, and audit-trail capabilities compliant with global healthcare regulatory standards.
Technical Delivery: Author detailed functional specifications, collaborate closely with ABAP developers, and lead testing cycles (Unit, SIT, UAT) through defect resolution.
Project Lifecycle Support: Execute data migration, cutover strategies, go-live operations, hypercare support, and end-user training documentation.
Ongoing Operations: Provide tier-3 incident resolution, root-cause analysis, continuous process improvements, and structured change management.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 8+ years of hands-on SAP EWM implementation experience, including at least two full lifecycle S/4HANA EWM deployments.
Domain Knowledge: Proven track record in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry with deep understanding of regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, GMP, track-and-trace).
Technical Skills: Strong technical proficiency in SAP S/4HANA integration, RF framework configuration, standard EWM analytics, and custom ABAP logic specs.
Work Environment: Self-directed and effective in a fully remote environment, with strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
