Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Oracle Fusion SCM Track Lead to bridge the gap between the overall SCM/PLM Solution Lead and the hands-on implementation team.

The ideal candidate will translate high-level functional requirements and architectural direction into detailed functional designs, actionable implementation plans, and technical-functional deliverables. This is a client-facing leadership role requiring strong Oracle Fusion SCM expertise, independent decision-making, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive end-to-end track execution.

The candidate will work closely with the Principal Solution Lead, business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of Oracle Fusion SCM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the functional execution of the Oracle Fusion SCM track, ensuring alignment with the overall SCM/PLM solution architecture and business objectives.
  • Translate high-level business requirements and solution architecture into detailed functional specifications, configurations, and implementation plans.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the SCM/PLM Solution Lead, business stakeholders, and the implementation team.
  • Drive requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Provide functional leadership across relevant Oracle Fusion SCM modules, ensuring seamless integration between business processes and system capabilities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, extensions, reports, data migration, and other solution components.
  • Identify functional gaps, dependencies, risks, and design challenges, and proactively drive them toward resolution.
  • Lead functional workshops, design reviews, stakeholder discussions, and solution walkthroughs.
  • Oversee functional documentation, including business requirements, functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and test scenarios.
  • Coordinate SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and deployment readiness activities.
  • Manage day-to-day track execution, ensuring deliverables meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Provide regular status updates, escalate critical issues, and communicate progress to project leadership and client stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to Oracle Fusion SCM best practices and established project governance standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 12–15 years of overall experience in Oracle ERP implementations, with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM.
  • Proven experience leading or coordinating an Oracle Fusion SCM functional track in a client-facing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion SCM business processes, solution design, and configuration.
  • Experience translating high-level solution architecture into detailed functional designs and implementation deliverables.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion SCM implementations, including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive deliverables to completion.
  • Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
  • Excellent documentation, presentation, and client-facing communication skills.
  • Willingness to work onsite in San Francisco, CA, for the duration of the engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an integrated SCM/PLM transformation environment.
  • Exposure to Oracle Product Management, Product Development, or related PLM capabilities.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional dependencies across supply chain and product lifecycle processes.
  • Prior experience in complex enterprise Oracle Cloud implementations.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM certifications are an advantage.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a hands-on functional leader who can operate autonomously, take ownership of the SCM track, and convert strategic solution direction into executable deliverables. The candidate should be comfortable working directly with client stakeholders, resolving functional challenges, and coordinating with multiple teams to maintain delivery momentum.

Important: Candidates must be available to work onsite in San Francisco, CA, and have strong Oracle Fusion SCM implementation and functional leadership experience.
