Summary

Position Summary
The Clinical Data Coordinator is responsible for supporting the collection, review, reconciliation, and maintenance of high-quality clinical trial data across studies managed by the organization. This position works closely with Clinical Research Coordinators, Investigators, Clinical Research Associates, Project Managers, sponsors, CROs, and other study team members to ensure clinical data are complete, accurate, timely, and compliant with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (Google Cloud Platform), applicable regulations, and company procedures.
The Clinical Data Coordinator will provide centralized, remote data support to assigned clinical research sites and studies, with an emphasis on data quality, query management, data reconciliation, issue resolution, and study database readiness.

Responsibilities
  • Complete clinical trial data entry into electronic data capture (EDC) systems for with completeness, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Perform ongoing review of electronic case report forms (eCRFs) and identify missing, inconsistent, or potentially inaccurate data.
  • Monitor data entry according to study-specific requirements and established timelines.
  • Track and resolve data queries in collaboration with clinical research site staff.
  • Support database cleaning activities and preparation for database lock.
  • Conduct routine data quality checks across assigned studies.
  • Identify recurring discrepancies or data trends that may require intervention or process improvement
  • Reconcile clinical data between EDC and other study systems or external data sources, as applicable.
  • Support reconciliation of laboratory, ECG, imaging, safety, ePRO/eCOA, IRT/IWRS, and other applicable data.
  • Identify and communicate discrepancies between data sources and coordinate resolution with appropriate study personnel.
  • Serve as a centralized data-support resource for Clinical Research Coordinators and site personnel.
  • Respond to site questions related to data entry, data queries, and study-specific data requirements.
  • Maintain working knowledge of study-specific EDC and other clinical research systems.
  • Review study protocols, data management plans, CRF completion guidelines, and other study documentation relevant to assigned responsibilities.
  • Participate in study-specific training.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Research, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Data Management, or a related field; equivalent clinical research experience may be considered.
  • 1-2 years of experience in clinical research, clinical data management, clinical data coordination, or a related role.
  • Working knowledge of ICH-Google Cloud Platform and clinical research processes.
  • Experience working with EDC or other clinical trial management systems.
