Overview
The Environmental Data Audit Analyst will support the review of environmental metrics, including Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions data, through sampling, testing, and validation processes. The role will ensure environmental data completeness and accuracy in accordance with the Internal Management Procedures (IMP) and sustainability reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform sampling and testing of environmental data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Conduct audit reviews of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions reporting.
Validate reported environmental metrics against supporting documentation.
Review sustainability metrics stored within the Workiva Sustainability module.
Ensure environmental reporting aligns with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and internal reporting standards.
Identify discrepancies in environmental data and recommend corrections.
Document audit results and communicate findings with relevant stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in:
Environmental data review
Quality or financial auditing
Sustainability reporting audits
Compliance review
Exposure to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol or environmental reporting frameworks.
Experience auditing or validating GHG emissions data.
Strong analytical and data validation skills.
Ability to perform audit sampling and documentation review.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience auditing GHG emissions using reporting tools rather than manual spreadsheet reviews.
Prior exposure to Workiva Carbon.
Experience working with Workiva Sustainability module or similar ESG reporting platforms.
Familiarity with sustainability or ESG data governance processes.
