Title: CNC Machinist

Fabricating parts with CNC mills, CNC lathes, CNC routers, manual machine equipment, lasers, 3D Printers and waterjets
Capable of producing parts with -- in some cases ±0.020mm or tighter -- critical tolerances
Read schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings to determine methods of manufacturing and assembly
Recognize the need and develop, design and build appropriate tooling and fixtures
Gather and prepare tools and materials required to complete projects
Capable of managing multiple concurrent projects on tight timelines
Maintain machine shop and fabrication equipment
Proactively maintain supplies of hardware components, equipment, etc. to customer expectations. Highlight all potential shortages and proactively work to ensure minimal interruption
Assembly of precision electro/mechanical systems including tight tolerance mechanical assemblies
Align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures and appropriate shop tools
Cover all aspects of a project''s requirements from conceptual design, 3D CAD, drafting, fabrication to assembly
Have a firm understanding of a variety of materials and their properties.
Utilize this knowledge to make informed decisions on materials to use for components.
