We are seeking a Production Support Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for responding to and resolving business queries within the Market Risk space. The ideal candidate will manage user queries, handle feed and batch support items, and perform incident management to ensure timely resolutions and system stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve business queries for the Market Risk space.
- Manage the user query mailbox, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
- Resolve feed and batch support items, including alert management and monitoring.
- Utilize framework tools such as ITSM, ITRS, JIRA, DynaTrace, and Splunk for updates and reporting.
- Conduct incident management, providing user notifications and managing escalations.
- Perform documentation and knowledge management tasks.
- Coordinate resolutions with various development teams.
- Assist with metrics reporting and coordinate Business Continuity testing.
- Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual, repetitive tasks.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of Production Support experience.
Technical Skills:- Strong knowledge of SQL and UNIX / LINUX.
- Working knowledge of ITIL, ITRS, DynaTrace, and Splunk.
- Proficiency with Autosys and Bob jobs.
- Python scripting knowledge.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous financial industry experience, specifically with Market Risk.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology.
- Operations exposure with Windows OS.
- Working knowledge of Tableau.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $63.00/hour to $68.26/hour. A comprehensive benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
