ERP/CRM Consultant

Description

We are looking for an experienced ERP/CRM Consultant to contribute to the continued improvement of a Workday Human Capital Management environment in Iowa City, Iowa. This Long-term Contract position focuses on analyzing business needs, shaping effective Workday solutions, and supporting enhancements that strengthen day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate brings strong functional knowledge of Workday and can partner with stakeholders to translate priorities into practical system outcomes.

Responsibilities:
Partner with business leaders and end users to gather operational needs and turn them into well-defined Workday HCM solutions.
Evaluate existing Workday processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend changes that increase efficiency and usability.
Configure, test, and support enhancements within the Workday environment to align system capabilities with organizational goals.
Create clear functional documentation, including business requirements, process flows, testing scenarios, and solution recommendations.
Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of system updates and issue resolution.
Lead user acceptance testing efforts by validating system changes, documenting outcomes, and confirming readiness for deployment.
Monitor production performance, investigate reported problems, and help implement corrective actions to maintain reliable operations.
Support ongoing optimization initiatives and contribute to future Workday-related projects as business priorities evolve.

Requirements

5+ years of experience working as a business analyst or consultant in ERP, CRM, or Workday-focused environments.
Hands-on functional expertise with Workday HCM and familiarity with broader Workday ERP capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate findings into system recommendations.
Experience preparing functional specifications, test plans, and other project documentation for enterprise applications.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership.
Proven background supporting system enhancements, troubleshooting issues, and improving enterprise application performance.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced contract environment.
