Summary

We are seeking an accomplished, highly organized
Technical Business Analyst and Project Coordinator to join our Compliance Technology team. This hybrid role connects business priorities with technology delivery by transforming complex needs into clear, actionable requirements and coordinating initiatives from planning through implementation. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in business analysis, project coordination, vendor oversight, financial tracking, and stakeholder engagement, with the judgment and discipline to help cross-functional teams deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business, compliance, product, and technology stakeholders to elicit, analyze, validate, prioritize, and document business, functional, technical, and non-functional requirements.

  • Translate business objectives into business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, data flows, and implementation-ready specifications that support successful delivery and testing.

  • Facilitate discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, backlog-refinement sessions, project-status meetings, and governance forums; document decisions, actions, owners, and due dates.

  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, milestones, resource assignments, dependencies, and critical paths using Microsoft Project or comparable tools.

  • Manage project financials in Clarity, including forecasts, budgets, actuals, resource plans, time reporting, and variance analysis; identify trends and escalate financial risks promptly.

  • Maintain Jira epics, stories, tasks, dashboards, and delivery metrics to provide accurate visibility into priorities, progress, blockers, and commitments across Agile teams.

  • Coordinate work across business, development, testing, infrastructure, security, release-management, and production-support teams to keep scope, timelines, and deliverables aligned.

  • Own project tracking and governance artifacts, including RAID logs, status reports, decision logs, change requests, action trackers, and executive dashboards; proactively drive follow-through and escalation.

  • Support vendor management activities, including onboarding, statements of work, deliverable and milestone tracking, invoice validation, purchase-order coordination, performance reviews, issue resolution, and adherence to contractual obligations.

  • Partner with project managers and resource leaders on capacity planning and hiring support, including role-definition input, interview coordination, candidate onboarding, access readiness, and workforce-tracking activities.

  • Support annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, accruals, expense monitoring, and cost-control activities; prepare clear financial summaries for project and leadership reviews.

  • Coordinate Agile ceremonies, release planning, change control, testing, user acceptance testing, implementation readiness, go-live activities, and post-implementation follow-up.

  • Prepare concise executive communications, KPI dashboards, presentations, meeting minutes, and decision materials that clearly communicate status, risks, financials, dependencies, and required actions.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve business processes, delivery governance, vendor performance, reporting quality, and team efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready project documentation in accordance with organizational policies, control requirements, and regulatory expectations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, project management, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant experience in business analysis, project coordination, project management, or a comparable role supporting technology initiatives.

  • Demonstrated experience managing requirements, project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, vendors, and executive reporting across the delivery life cycle.

  • Hands-on proficiency with Clarity, Microsoft Project, Jira, and Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Working knowledge of the software development life cycle, Agile delivery practices, change management, and project-governance controls.

  • Ability to learn complex business domains and translate business needs into clear, complete, and testable requirements.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, financial-tracking, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively across geographically distributed teams, and adapt quickly to changing requirements and deadlines.

  • Experience creating process maps and data-flow diagrams using draw.io, Visio, or similar tools, and preparing KPI dashboards and executive-level reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services, regulatory compliance, anti-money laundering, transaction monitoring, or related domain.

  • Experience coordinating external vendors, professional-services engagements, contracts, statements of work, invoices, and delivery commitments.

  • Working knowledge of SQL, advanced Excel functionality, data analysis, and visualization or dashboarding tools.

  • Exposure to Databricks, cloud platforms, big-data environments, or modern data technologies.

  • Experience using Microsoft Copilot or other enterprise AI productivity tools to improve analysis, documentation, collaboration, and reporting.

  • Project-management or business-analysis certification, such as PMP, CAPM, PMI-PBA, CBAP, or an Agile certification, is a plus.
