Summary

Job Title: Deskside Support Technician (Tier II)
Location: 100% Onsite – Washington, DC
Type: Contract
Compensation: $39 - $45/hr. 
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Security Clearance: Public Trust required (Secret Clearance highly desired)

System One is seeking a Deskside Support Technician to support the Enterprise Standard Architecture V (ESA V) program within the Department of Justice (DOJ). ESA V provides a full suite of IT services—including help desk operations, deskside support, workstation engineering, managed print services, ITSM, Active Directory services, and video conferencing support.

Responsibilities
Candidates can expect to perform work including, but not limited to:
  • Provide deskside support for users with tickets assigned from the Service Desk or identified onsite
  • Perform break/fix support on government?issued end?user devices (e.g., replacing hard drives, batteries, etc.)
  • Install specialty software not packaged in SCCM
  • Remove devices from the network as directed by Security
  • Diagnose and resolve printer?related issues
  • Install printer toner and perform basic printer maintenance
  • Deliver high?quality, timely customer service in accordance with ESA V performance standards
  • Prioritize tasks based on ticket urgency and customer impact
  • Support users across multiple buildings in Washington, DC with minimal supervision
  • Provide “white glove” support for senior management and leadership offices, including occasional after?hours support as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up?to?date ticket information within the ITSM system
Required Education & Experience
  • High School diploma and 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Current Public Trust clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Prior Tier II technical support experience in a Windows?based office environment
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using an ITSM ticketing system
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively without direct supervision
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience supporting Department of Justice components or federal agencies
