Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated SAP Integration Team Lead to drive technical excellence and team leadership in delivering cutting-edge integration solutions using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) . In this role, you will oversee a team of skilled professionals, guide project implementation, collaborate with stakeholders, and innovate scalable integration strategies aligned with business needs. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of SAP CPI engineers, ensuring project quality and professional development Manage SAP CPI implementation projects, aligning solutions with customer requirements and timelines Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams, leveraging strong communication skills (English B2 level preferred) Design, build, and deploy complex integration scenarios using SAP CPI standards and Enterprise Integration Patterns Optimize Groovy scripts in CPI for data transformations (XmlSlurper, JsonSlurper, XmlParser), closures, and context-based value mapping Configure adapters, including REST, SOAP, OData, and SFTP, and handle asynchronous messaging workflows such as SOAP RM and IDoc Utilize streaming platforms and message queues such as SAP Event Mesh, Kafka, and RabbitMQ for real-time data processing Implement exception handling, logging frameworks, and CPI Quality of Service mechanisms like Exactly-Once or At-Least-Once delivery Set up Cloud Connectors and manage BTP security, including OAuth configurations, roles, and authentication methods Configure standard SAP content in SAP CI and establish secure communication via SSL certificate setup Apply knowledge of network protocols like TCP/IP and architecture frameworks, including ISA-M, SOA, and EDA principles Deliver expertise in API and data model integration for SAP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP CX, and SuccessFactors Drive end-to-end project management, addressing challenges and ensuring process optimization Foster a culture of continuous improvement, scaling team capabilities, and promoting professional growth Requirements Over 5 years of experience in SAP CPI integrations and implementations Proficiency in Groovy scripting for CPI, including data transformations (XmlSlurper, JsonSlurper, XmlParser), closures, and context-based value mapping Competency in utilizing adapters like REST, SOAP, OData, and SFTP, along with asynchronous messaging workflows (SOAP RM, IDoc) Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns and CPI architectural best practices Understanding of streaming platforms and message queues such as SAP Event Mesh, Kafka, RabbitMQ Practical expertise in exception handling, logging, and managing Quality of Service in CPI Familiarity with configuration of Cloud Connectors and BTP security, including OAuth and roles setup Experience in setting up SSL handshakes and certificate-based secure communication Background in networking concepts (TCP/IP stack) and integrating SAP systems such as S/4HANA, CX, or SuccessFactors Showcase of understanding architectural methodologies like ISA-M, SOA, and EDA API and data modeling knowledge for minimum two SAP systems English proficiency at B1-B2 level for effective collaboration (B2 preferred) Nice to have Experience with third-party SDKs such as AWS Exposure to scale-oriented methodologies for team growth and talent development Understanding of SAP CPI internal architecture, pricing models, and account setup creation
