Overview: Every consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services offers to clients. As an End-to-End Integration QA Engineer, you will join the Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.

Responsibilities:

API-Focused End-to-End Testing

Own and execute end-to-end API and integration testing for CMS Burden Reduction initiatives

Validate HL7 FHIR-based REST APIs including payloads, schemas, headers, authentication, and error handling

Perform deep API validation across upstream and downstream systems and integration partners

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance across API workflows

Agile and Program Enablement

Participate in Pre-PI Planning, PI Planning and break-outs, Release retrospectives, and Technical Design walkthroughs

Engage in Sprint Planning, daily stand-ups, and System Demos as part of System QA/QE

Test Planning, Design, and Execution

Contribute to Test Strategy during PI Planning (scenarios, dependencies, risks, regression impact)

Provide end-to-end test estimates for assigned features (story points)

Define and review Acceptance Criteria using GIVEN-WHEN-THEN format

Design, automate, and execute end-to-end test scenarios (positive, negative, integration)

Identify test data needs and provide inputs for integrated test environment setup

Execute tests based on business priority and critical paths

Walk through test evidence and provide demos for feature acceptance

Defect Management and Governance

Collaborate with Product Owner, Architects, Developers, RTE, and QE Leads on defect management

Support warranty and post-production validation

Maintain daily Jira updates for features, test execution, and defects

Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in End-to-End/Integration QA

Bachelor's Degree

Strong hands-on API testing expertise (must-have)

Extensive experience using Postman for API validation

Strong knowledge of HL7 FHIR, Healthcare Interoperability, and CMS Burden Reduction

Experience with Playwright for API and UI integration scenarios

Strong experience with Jira for test and defect management

Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments

The salary range for this role is $95,000 to $135,000 or the hourly equivalent.
