Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with 12+ years of expertise to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure and CI/CD ecosystems. This role demands strong leadership, deep technical proficiency, and a strategic mindset to drive DevOps maturity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).

• Lead end-to-end CI/CD pipeline design and automation.

• Drive infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of systems.

• Implement and manage containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Define and enforce DevOps best practices, security standards, and governance.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams for seamless delivery.

• Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.

• Mentor junior engineers and lead DevOps initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years in IT with strong focus on DevOps & Cloud Engineering.

• Expertise in at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes & Docker.

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).

• Experience with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

• Deep understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes CKA/CKAD).

• Experience in microservices architecture.

• Exposure to SRE practices and incident management.

• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Master’s degree (MBA/MS) is a plus.

• Relevant certifications in Cloud, DevOps, or Kubernetes are highly preferred.
