Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with 12+ years of expertise in business analysis, requirements gathering, process improvement, and enterprise application delivery. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to analyze business needs, define functional requirements, and deliver innovative technology solutions. The candidate should possess strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Conduct requirement elicitation sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workshops.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, QA teams, architects, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.
• Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Support Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate business requirements, and support defect resolution.
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations for business and executive stakeholders.
• Manage requirement traceability throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Support change management, process documentation, and training activities.
• Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining quality standards.
• Mentor junior Business Analysts and promote best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Business Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Process Modeling, and Business Process Improvement.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience creating user stories, wireframes, business workflows, UML diagrams, and process maps.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance, Retail, or Government domains.
• Exposure to Digital Transformation, Cloud Migration, and Enterprise Application Modernization projects.
• Knowledge of API integrations, data mapping, and system integration projects.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe Business Analyst are preferred.
• Experience working with Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics projects is an added advantage.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master''s degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
