Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP EAM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and SAP Asset Operations & Maintenance processes. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of asset lifecycle management, plant maintenance operations, and end-to-end maintenance business processes. This role requires hands-on experience in SAP EAM configuration, support, enhancements, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize maintenance operations and improve asset reliability.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to design, configure, implement, and support SAP EAM solutions aligned with organizational maintenance and asset management goals.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Analyze business requirements related to asset management, maintenance operations, and plant reliability, translating them into SAP EAM solutions.

·        Configure and support SAP EAM / SAP PM modules including Notifications, Maintenance Orders, Task Lists, Work Centers, Equipment, Functional Locations, and Preventive Maintenance Plans.

·        Manage end-to-end maintenance processes including breakdown maintenance, corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance.

·        Design and implement technical object structures such as Functional Locations, Equipment Masters, BOMs, Measuring Points, and Serial Number Management.

·        Support maintenance planning and scheduling activities to improve plant uptime and operational efficiency.

·        Configure and maintain maintenance notifications for issue tracking, prioritization, and resolution workflows.

·        Create and enhance maintenance order processes for labor planning, material reservations, confirmations, and settlement activities.

·        Work on integration between SAP PM/EAM and other modules such as MM, FI/CO, PPM, and RE-FX.

·        Support project portfolio maintenance initiatives using SAP PPM (Project Portfolio Management).

·        Collaborate on real estate and facility maintenance processes involving SAP RE-FX.

·        Coordinate with ABAP and technical teams for custom developments, reports, interfaces, forms, workflows, and enhancements.

·        Perform system testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution for EAM-related changes.

·        Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and training materials.

·        Provide production support, incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement recommendations.

·        Ensure data quality and governance for master data related to assets and technical objects.

·        Assist in migration and upgrade activities including SAP ECC to S/4HANA EAM transformations where required.

·        Conduct user training sessions and provide post-go-live support.

·        Work in Agile or Waterfall project environments and participate in status meetings, planning sessions, and stakeholder communications.

Required Skills:

·        Strong experience in SAP EAM / SAP PM implementation and support projects.

·        Deep understanding of asset operations, maintenance planning, and technical object management.

·        Expertise in Notifications, Maintenance Orders, Work Clearance Management, and Preventive Maintenance.

·        Experience with breakdown and emergency maintenance processes.

·        Knowledge of integration with MM, WM, FI/CO, and procurement processes.

·        Hands-on experience with SAP PPM and SAP RE-FX modules.

·        Strong configuration and troubleshooting skills in SAP EAM.

·        Ability to work closely with technical teams for enhancements and interfaces.

·        Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Experience with SAP S/4HANA Asset Management.

·        Exposure to Mobility solutions, Fiori Apps, and GIS integrations.

·        Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance and asset performance optimization.

·        SAP certification in PM/EAM is a plus.
