Job DetailsTAX PARTNER
A member firm of a fast-growing national public accounting platform, based in North Carolina, is seeking a Tax Partner to join its leadership team. This is a genuine equity partnership opportunity for an experienced tax professional ready to build and lead within a firm backed by real resources and momentum. Relocation assistance is available to help make the move.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior leader within the firm, overseeing tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a diverse client base
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on complex tax matters
- Review and oversee the work of Managers, Seniors, and Staff, ensuring technical accuracy and quality control
- Identify opportunities to expand services and deepen client relationships
- Participate in firm leadership, strategic planning, and business development initiatives
- Mentor and develop team members, contributing to a strong internal culture and technical bench
- Stay current on tax law changes and ensure the firm's practices reflect best-in-class standards
Requirements
- Active CPA license required
- Significant experience in public accounting tax compliance and advisory work at the Partner level
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and lead engagement teams
- Strong technical tax knowledge across individual, pass-through, and corporate tax matters
- Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in helping build a growing firm
- Willingness to relocate to the North Carolina office (relocation package provided)
