Title: Metrology Engineer 2nd shift

Location: On-site York, PA
Pay/Duration: 46.80 per hour / 6 months plus contract to hire
REQUIRED: PolyWorks / Faro Arm / GD&T / Portable CMM / CREO / SolidWorks / Laser Tracker
Conduct inspection and dimensional report generation utilizing laser trackers, Faro arms and high volume scanners.
Generating detailed inspection reports for Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality
Conducting laser inspections of new design installations for integration into manufacturing
Performing inspection tasks for new designs and design changes
Interfacing with Design Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and Manufacturing
Reviewing inspection data and assisting in the development preventative action plans
Retrieving quality data and communicating results and statuses to internal and external customers
Specialized technical knowledge of relevant military and commercial design standards
Knowledge of mechanical design and the assembly process
Experience using PolyWorks software
Experience using the following measurement/inspection equipment: o Portable CMM o Laser Tracker o High Volume Scanner (ex. Surphaser)About Us
