Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Technical Director to lead our technical team, oversee project development, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and experience managing remote teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the technical team, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight.
Develop and implement technical strategies aligned with company goals.
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software applications or systems.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project scope and requirements.
Ensure the technical feasibility of project designs and adherence to best practices.
Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, tools, and technologies.
Promote best practices in coding, security, and quality assurance.
Facilitate effective communication within remote teams and with external partners.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Technical Director, or senior technical leadership role.
Experience managing remote or distributed teams.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with relevant technologies, programming languages, and tools.
Ability to solve complex technical problems and make strategic decisions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
