Job Title: Java Developer

Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for creating and deploying cloud-native and containerized Java applications using modern cloud technologies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will ensure the delivery of scalable, high-performing solutions across cloud-native and cloud-agnostic environments.
Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native and containerized applications using Java and modern cloud technologies. Work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance applications leveraging cloud native and cloud agnostic services.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Java and cloud technologies.
- Implement microservices architecture and develop RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and ensure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD automation and deployment workflows.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability across cloud platforms.
- Apply security best practices to protect applications and data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, reliability, and security.
- Work closely with architects, product managers, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and maintainability.
Education and Background- High School Diploma or equivalent(GED) required.
- Secret Clearance
Years of Experience5 - 8 years
Preferred Skills- Experience working with enterprise-scale applications on AWS
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
- Background in DevSecOps environments
- Strong skills in performance tuning and optimization
- Previous consulting experience
Working ConditionsOnsite in Rosslyn, VA twice a week.
