Job Description: Data Center TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled
Data Center Technician to join our infrastructure operations team. In this role, you will serve as a primary resolver for hardware-related issues within the data center environment. The ideal candidate is experienced in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex technical problems and is committed to maintaining high standards of performance, accuracy, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex hardware and infrastructure issues across servers and related equipment.
- Act as a primary escalation point within the support team, providing technical expertise and timely issue resolution.
- Apply basic to intermediate system administration skills to independently resolve server and equipment problems.
- Maintain a deep understanding of all data center equipment, systems, and components you support.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, sharing knowledge and contributing to a strong team-based work environment.
- Follow detailed instructions and operational procedures with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Receive and apply feedback constructively to continuously improve performance and service quality.
Qualifications- Experience supporting or troubleshooting hardware in a data center or similar technical environment.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of system administration concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Receptive to feedback with a willingness to adapt and grow in the role.
Additional Skills & QualificationsDaily Schedule: This will be determined at the site level upon arrival and distribution. First week for onboarding would likely be M-Fri 730 - 1600.
Four 10-hour days Front or back-end schedules. 6:00am-5:00pm or 7:00am-6:00pm
Night shifts are available 5:45pm to 4:15am or 7:30pm to 6:00am
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Umatilla, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
