Job Description Summary:

Our Core AI Team is scaling rapidly to meet growing demand for AI-driven transformation across its global business. The team is expanding next-generation Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities and is seeking an experienced Associate Principal AI Engineer to evolve AI platform capabilities, develop and mature AI services, drive AI adoption, and provide AI expertise supporting AI-powered digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute enhancements to AWS Launchpad platform and related operational services.
• Support onboarding of internal development teams onto the AWS Launchpad platform.
• Develop production-ready Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions using strong Python skills and AWS AgentCore.
• Translate complex business and technical problems into well-defined project requirements.
• Lead AI development teams under supervision to deliver business transformation initiatives.
• Apply software engineering best practices and follow Software Delivery Lifecycle.
• Leverage AWS AI services and infrastructure to select appropriate technologies for business requirements.
• Contribute to the evolution of AI governance and operational processes.
• Identify and share innovative AI ideas across the organization.
• Support and drive AI adoption throughout.
• Champion innovation, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams and internal/external stakeholders to design and deliver effective AI solutions.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in end-to-end AI solution design.
• Strong proficiency in Python for production-ready AI development.
• Deep understanding of the Generative AI landscape and Agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience with Strands SDK, LangChain, A2A, and MCP.
• Experience across the full AI/model lifecycle, including planning, training, deployment, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of AWS AI infrastructure and AI services.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders to design and deliver AI solutions.
• Professional certifications in AI and/or cloud technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the insurance industry or other regulated sectors.
• Master s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience building AI solutions using AWS AgentCore.
