Enterprise IT Architect

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise IT Architect to provide consulting, architecture, and strategic guidance on enterprise AI initiatives and innovation programs. The role requires deep expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, AI applications, and large-scale mission-critical systems.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or equivalent.
• Extensive experience designing distributed enterprise architectures for mission-critical systems.
• Strong knowledge and applied experience with Artificial Intelligence technologies and enterprise AI adoption.
• Experience across the full solution lifecycle including:
• Conceptualization
• Analysis
• Design
• Development
• Testing
• Deployment
• Operational readiness
• Strong system analysis and architecture governance experience.
• Experience leading teams of architects, developers, analysts, and testers across small and large-scale initiatives.
• Experience working in both public and private sector environments.
• Experience developing technology solution requirements for RFPs and enterprise initiatives.
• Strong experience with:
• Cloud platforms
• Virtualization technologies
• Multi-datacenter environments
• SaaS and PaaS solutions
• Experience developing enterprise policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across executive, business, and technical teams.
• Experience building consensus among cross-functional teams with competing priorities.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Identity Management and Azure security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multiple cloud vendors and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience defining cloud hosting and migration requirements.
• Experience implementing access control models and enterprise security frameworks.
• Microsoft Azure certifications preferred.
• Prior IT management, program management, or project management experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consulting services related to enterprise AI initiatives and innovation programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop practical enterprise technology solutions.
• Define business and technical requirements for enterprise systems and platforms.
• Facilitate issue resolution across stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
• Participate in architecture and project governance meetings.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, enterprise architecture teams, and delivery teams.
• Research and publish architecture artifacts including reference architectures and design patterns.
• Conduct research and present findings related to emerging technologies, standards, and policies.
• Provide regular project and architecture status reporting.

Candidate Criteria

• Must have strong enterprise architecture leadership experience.
• Must have hands-on AI strategy and enterprise solution architecture expertise.
• Must have strong cloud and security architecture background.
• Experience in highly regulated or large enterprise environments preferred.
