Job DescriptionStaff EngineerAEO Employment Services CO LLC seeks a Staff Engineer to develop global e-commerce applications.
Duties include: (i) designing and developing backend apps using Java/JDK8, Spring Boot and ATG; (ii) leading full-cycle implementation and performance tuning of e-commerce site development and web applications; (iii) conducting software testing, validation and enforce coding standards; (iv) improving existing software and adapt new hardware; (v) providing on-call support and resolve issues; and (vi) migrating legacy applications to cloud-native applications.
This is a remote position; the employee can live anywhere in the United States.
Must have a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related IT position.
Experience must include five (5) years working with: (i) Java/JDK8 to develop e-commerce software applications; (ii) ATG e-Commerce framework; and (iii) all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting retail applications in an agile environment.
Experience must also include three (3) years: (i) working with Spring/Spring Boot applications; (ii) implementing REST web services for use in high-traffic retail ecommerce platforms; and (iii) Cloud-native application development using Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
Experience can be concurrent.
