Duration: 6 Months
Only candidates currently located in Indiana will be considered for this position. Candidates must be paid BETWEEN $41.67 and $51.51 if selected for engagement.
Skills:
Experience in IT Project Management Required 5 Years
Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software projects as a Senior IT PM Highly desired
Strong knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation Required 5 Years
Experience with multiple methodologies including agile and waterfall Required 5 Years
Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of SDLC to program/business folks who have little to no exposure to large software projects Required 5 Years
Ability to work with technical team members, and other IT professionals to flesh out project plans and risk registers and overcome obstacles Required 5 Years
Strong communication and presentation skills Required 5 Years
PMP Certified, upload cert on Reference tab at time of submission Highly desired

A Day in the Life:
The essential functions of this role are as follows:
Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion.
Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources.
Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans.
Define users and project team member s roles and responsibilities on the project.
Define user requirements, deliverables, and approvals.
Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders.
Mentor and provide guidance to lower-level Project Managers including recommending training and experience.
