Informatica IDMC & AWS Data Integration Architect

Location: Remote (Must work Hawaii Time)

Type: Long term Contract

A local banking company in Hawaii is seeking someone who has experience in Informatica IDMC & AWS Data Integration  to help build a new cloud‑based data batching system alongside a third‑party vendor, ensuring the solution is scalable, code‑agnostic, and aligned with best practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a third‑party vendor to build a new cloud‑based data batching system that meets the bank’s needs.
• Ensure the system is code‑agnostic, scalable, and built using best engineering practices.
• Streamline data integration across multiple systems (FIS, D1, IBS, and other vendor applications).
• Support the creation of a single source of truth customer profile (loans, deposits, credit cards, and other accounts).
• Build and enhance batch processes using Informatica IDMC.
• Assist with upgrading on‑prem Informatica from 10.4 → 10.6.
• Must be able to work Hawaii time zone. 

Qualifications

• Informatica IDMC expertise with hands‑on ETL/ELT pipeline development.
• Strong AWS cloud architecture knowledge (S3, EC2, IAM, VPC, etc.).
• Batch file experience preferred (batch jobs, batch‑driven workflows).
• Experience with Oracle Cloud (OCI) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and validate vendor work.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
