Complete job description -Responsible for planning, supporting, and executing PeopleTools upgrades for PeopleSoft HCM applications, ensuring minimal business disruption and alignment with organizational standards.
Conduct comprehensive impact analysis to assess the effect of PeopleTools upgrades on existing customizations, delivered objects, integrations, and business processes.
Perform retrofitting and remediation of custom objects, including updates to PeopleCode, Application Engine (AE), Component Interfaces (CI), and SQR programs, to ensure compatibility with upgraded PeopleTools versions.
Modify and optimize technical components and batch processes to address deprecations, framework changes, and performance improvements introduced by new PeopleTools releases.
Execute unit testing, system testing, and support UAT activities to validate functionality, data integrity, and performance following the upgrade.
Collaborate closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to analyze technical issues, clarify requirements, and deliver effective solutions during the upgrade lifecycle.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve post-upgrade defects, performance issues, and security-related changes, ensuring a smooth stabilization phase.
Support postupgrade validation and hypercare activities, providing timely production support and rootcause analysis for upgrade-related incidents.
Ensure adherence to PeopleSoft upgrade best practices, technical standards, and documentation requirements, including upgrade runbooks and code migration records.
Proactively recommend system optimization, cleanup of obsolete customizations, and adoption of delivered PeopleTools features to improve system efficiency and maintainability.
