  • Administer Oracle Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Implement and support Oracle GoldenGate replication solutions.
  • Perform database backup, recovery, restore, patching, and upgrade activities.
  • Troubleshoot database performance, availability, configuration, and Linux-related issues.
  • Collaborate with application and engineering teams on database architecture, schema design, data modeling, and operational best practices.
  • Ensure database scalability, reliability, security, and performance for mission-critical applications.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database 19c administration.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle Exadata architecture, configuration, and performance optimization.
  • Experience migrating large Oracle databases (100 TB or more) to Oracle Exadata in AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS database infrastructure and cloud migration strategies.
  • Expertise in Oracle performance tuning, AWR/ASH analysis, SQL tuning, indexing, and partitioning.
  • Experience with Oracle Data Guard, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate replication.
  • Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with database backup, recovery, patching, and upgrades.
  • Knowledge of database schema design, data modeling, and production support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or mission-critical applications.
  • Experience managing Oracle databases across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
