Job Details
5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, processing, or heavy production environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment failures quickly and safely.
Demonstrated experience in at least two of the following skilled trades:
Mechanical Maintenance
Industrial Electrical
Millwright
Pipefitting
Welding/Fabrication
Machining
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
Self-motivated professional capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Highly Preferred Qualifications
Experience troubleshooting and repairing automated manufacturing equipment.
Hands-on experience with:
480V, 3-phase electrical systems
Motors, motor controls, starters, and contactors
Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
PLC troubleshooting and fault diagnostics
Sensors, relays, photo eyes, and automated controls
Conveyors, production equipment, and material handling systems
Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with minimal downtime.
Experience performing preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Background working in high-speed, continuous-process, automated, or lean manufacturing environments.
Experience supporting production equipment reliability through root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Technical training, apprenticeship, military maintenance experience, or trade certifications are a plus.
