Description - Design, configure, and administer PLM environments and associated data structures.
- Develop and maintain architecture standards across CAD and product development systems.
- Build automation scripts and internal tooling to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
- Manage and maintain product data, engineering documentation, and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Create and refine workflows supporting configuration management and change control.
- Integrate CAD, PLM, and other engineering systems using APIs and automation pipelines.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on system requirements and engineering standards.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and best practices for CAD/PLM usage.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high reliability and data integrity.
- Maintain clear, detailed documentation for processes, tools, and system configurations.
Requirements - Extensive experience with modern CAD tools and PLM platforms (cloud-based systems preferred).
- Proficiency in Python, scripting languages, and parametric modeling configuration languages.
- Hands-on experience with API integrations and CI/CD development workflows.
- Strong documentation, version control, and configuration management skills.
- Background in mechanical design or related engineering discipline; experience in specialized domains is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to automate tasks and build internal engineering tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
