Our firm is supporting a fast-growing organization in the renewable energy and technology sector with the search for a Site Support Specialist. This role is ideal for a senior-level IT support professional who thrives in high-visibility environments and enjoys delivering exceptional, white-glove technology support to executive leadership.
This position serves as a trusted on-site technical expert, responsible for the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of workplace technology services. The Site Support Specialist provides high-touch executive and VIP support, acts as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues, and contributes to operational excellence across the site support function.

Job Description
The Site Support Specialist delivers hands-on technical support while partnering with cross-functional IT teams to ensure a seamless technology experience for employees and leadership.
Executive & VIP Support
  • Provide white-glove, high-priority technical support to executive leadership and designated VIP stakeholders.
  • Ensure technology readiness for board meetings, leadership sessions, and high-profile business events.
  • Proactively maintain executive workstations, mobile devices, and collaboration tools to minimize disruption.
  • Respond rapidly to executive-level issues with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Anticipate technology needs and recommend improvements that enhance productivity and reliability.
Technical Escalation & Troubleshooting
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for advanced desktop, mobility, collaboration, and workplace technology issues.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues involving operating systems, authentication, endpoint management, and enterprise applications.
  • Partner with network, security, systems, and application teams to resolve cross-functional technical challenges.
  • Identify recurring issues and drive root-cause analysis and long-term solutions.
Site Technology Ownership
  • Maintain operational readiness of on-site IT infrastructure, including endpoints, conference rooms, and shared devices.
  • Support and maintain AV systems and video conferencing platforms to ensure reliable collaboration experiences.
  • Lead or support site technology initiatives such as office expansions, hardware refreshes, and technology upgrades.
  • Act as the primary on-site technical liaison for facilities and business stakeholders.
Service Excellence & Process Improvement
  • Improve support processes, service standards, and overall user experience.
  • Create and maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Analyze ticket trends to identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and improved service reliability.
  • Promote alignment with IT service management best practices and service level expectations.
Mentorship & Team Leadership
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and site support staff.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and consistent service delivery across the support organization.
  • Serve as a technical leader and trusted partner within IT operations.
Incident & Service Request Management
  • Manage high-impact incidents and service requests with urgency and professionalism.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, escalation, and follow-through within the IT service management platform.
  • Maintain asset tracking and lifecycle management for site technology.

Qualifications
Required
  • 5+ years of experience in executive/VIP IT support roles.
  • Proven experience supporting executive leadership or high-profile stakeholders.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills across Windows and/or macOS environments.
  • Hands-on experience supporting conference room AV systems and video conferencing platforms.
  • Experience with identity and access management solutions (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, or equivalent).
  • Experience using IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow or equivalent).
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and customer service skills in high-visibility environments.
  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work on-site in an office environment.
  • Occasional after-hours or event support may be required.
Preferred
  • Experience with endpoint management platforms such as Intune, Jamf, or SCCM.
  • Familiarity with enterprise productivity platforms (Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace).
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP).
  • Experience supporting large corporate office environments.
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or Apple certifications.
  • Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS and Android) and enterprise mobility solutions.
