IIB WMB Developer

Job Title: IIB WMB Developer

Location: Markham, ON (Hybrid)

Contract: 12 months

Required Skills & Qualifications

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

·         3–8+ years of hands-on experience with IIB/WMB development

·         Strong proficiency in ESQL, Java/JCN nodes, and Message Flow development

·         Solid understanding of IBM MQ (queue managers, channels, clustering, security)

·         Experience with XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL, DFDL, and Message Modeling

·         Knowledge of SOAP and REST web services

·         Experience with databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server) and JDBC connectivity

·         Familiarity with Toolkit (IIB Toolkit/Eclipse-based IDE) for development

·         Understanding of Pub/Sub messaging patterns, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) concepts

·         Experience in Unix/Linux/Windows environments; shell scripting knowledge is a plus

·         Knowledge of application servers (WebSphere Application Server) is a plus

·         Exposure to IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) — since IIB/WMB is being phased toward ACE

·         Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven) is a plus

·         Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
