Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer III for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. We are seeking an Application Programmer to support the development and enhancement of a digital banking platform. The role focuses on building secure, scalable, and high-performance full-stack applications that deliver digital solutions for corporate clients using Java, Spring Boot, and modern front-end technologies.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications for a digital banking platform
- Build and integrate applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices
- Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to deliver business solutions
- Implement secure coding practices and comply with enterprise security standards
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
- Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and release activities
- Promote DevSecOps and software engineering best practices
Requirements: - Strong experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development
- Experience with Angular/React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/SAFe methodologies
- Understanding of application security, authentication, and authorization
- Experience with SQL databases and performance optimization
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Desired skills: - Experience in financial services or digital banking applications
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and DevSecOps practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
