Summary
Title: Senior Dynatrace Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
Under limited supervision, the candidate will design, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions for infrastructure, servers, cloud services, and applications. The role includes configuring and onboarding applications into Dynatrace for monitoring and observability.
Responsibilities:
Configure and maintain monitoring using Dynatrace
Create dashboards, alerts, and health checks
Monitor Windows/Linux servers, VMware, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
Monitor databases, middleware, and network components
Support application performance monitoring using Dynatrace
Assist in incident response and root cause analysis
Improve monitoring standards and documentation
Integrate monitoring with ITSM tools
Required Experience:
5+ years in monitoring / infrastructure / systems engineering
5+ years of Dynatrace or similar APM tool experience
Experience with Windows, Linux, VMware, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Experience with PowerShell or Bash scripting
Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, Load balancing
Experience migrating Dynatrace Managed to SaaS
Experience defining monitoring KPIs / SLA / thresholds
Experience with Jira / ServiceNow / log analysis tools
Preferred:
Kubernetes or container monitoring
ITIL environment experience
AWS certification exposure
Education:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
