Key Responsibilities

• Manage system integrations within the architecture of the enterprise HR/Finance platform and middleware.


• Support inbound and outbound integration issues, changes to existing integrations, and new integrations.


• Provide support for incident management and integration monitoring.


• Perform routine break/fix support and regression testing.


• Support inbound and outbound interfaces between the platform and middleware.


• Protect the accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, documentation, and problem resolution.


• Translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications.


• Verify that integrations perform as designed according to functional and technical requirements.


• Consult with business and technical teams regarding interface design and maintenance.


• Collaborate with architects and technical leads on design decisions.


• Design and develop interfaces and conduct unit and integration testing.


• Follow data governance and data privacy requirements, with strong attention to data quality.


• Follow defined integration and development standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.


• Five or more years of experience in interface architecture.


• Strong understanding of enterprise HR/Finance platform architecture, including the object model, security domains, business process framework, and API catalog.


• Experience designing and implementing ETL processes and using ETL tools.


• Experience with web services and APIs, including WSDL, SOAP, REST, and WS standards.


• Strong technical experience with XML and Java.


• Understanding of basic database architecture, tables, and functional interactions, including the ability to identify potential impacts to downstream systems.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing planned and unplanned responsibilities.


• Ability to prioritize workload, execute tasks independently, and provide timely follow-up and resolution.


• Ability to follow data governance, data privacy, integration, and development standards.
