Join Windwalker Group, where we're seeking proactive and customer-oriented Security Professionals to fortify our esteemed Protection & Preparedness team in the bustling metro-Boston, Massachusetts area. We have immediate openings for Per-Diem Roving unarmed Security Guards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts to provide comprehensive security
coverage across various sites. As a per-diem guard you will have the opportunity to pick and choose shifts that need coverage that fit your schedule.
We would provide you training relevant to all of our sites, then you would have the ability to pick up shifts across the Greater Boston area at a $22 an hour rate.

Responsibilities:
- Execute security protocols and maintain detailed duty logs
- Acquire proficiency in Standard Operating Procedures across multiple sites.
- Maintain security posts and conduct patrols as needed to ensure safety and security.
- Remain vigilant for irregularities and potential safety hazards, promptly addressing concerns.
- Actively participate in emergency response, providing assistance and guidance to employees, visitors, and guests.
- Enforce site regulations, intervening in rule infractions with professionalism and tact.
- Monitor staff movements to uphold public safety and security.
- Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities.
- Maintain accurate written logs as per post requirements.
- Provide courteous and professional assistance to customers, employees, and visitors.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of unarmed guard experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility in schedule and work environments.
- Ability to adapt swiftly to changing circumstances.
- Proficient in physical tasks and extended periods of standing, walking, bending, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and a professional demeanor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in technology including cell phones, MS Office, and email.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Residency in Greater Boston area preferred.
- 2+ years of similar role experience.
- Knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment.
- CPR, FIRST AID, AED, NARCAN, MOAB, or ACT I, II, or III Certifications.
- Associate degree or higher in Criminal Justice or related field.
- Experience with documenting, observations, customer service, and security procedures.
- Previous concierge experience.
- Advanced unarmed security guard experience (2-3 years).
